Issue 04 - Songs That Genuinely Has A Kill Count

At my core, I have always been a sad girl. No matter how carefree and happy-go-lucky I seem, there's always this tiny part of me that is just inherently sad. I have more sad playlists than happy ones. I wrote countless of sad poems while my happy poems could be counted in one hand. It's strange but I'm the most creative when I'm sad cause that is when I feel inspired to create. To quote Richard Siken, "Because the language of joy is grunts and moans and the vocabulary of loss is the dictionary."

These are type of songs I play while getting ready in the morning without even giving the day a chance to be a good day. DO NOT play these songs around me if you don't want me to crash out. I wasn't kidding when I said these songs has a kill count! 

Issue 03 - Adult Friendship or Pure Disrespect? Let's talk about it.

I understand that in our 20's, we are more focused on our career or academics and it isn't rare that we neglect nurturing our friendships in the pursue of building a better future. People are busy. They don't have the luxury of time to go to a weekly hangout. Heck, sometimes they don't have time to send a simple text of 'How are you?' and that's okay cause less communication doesn't mean less love. 

And I get it. That's why I take no offense when my messages go unreplied for days or when they post on their social media but my messages are still on delivered. Sometimes people just don't have the energy to interact with you and it isn't that deep.

Issue 02 - Photobooths For Homebodies

Whenever I come to a new city, I always always always take a photobooth picture. Or, if I'm going out with friends, a trip to a photobooth is a cute addition to the hangout. It's my most favourite thing in the world! I get to wear cute headbands, do cool poses with friends and decorate the frame with stickers. It doesn't help that I'm such a sentimental girl so I always have to get a keepsake to remind me of a certain place or moment. 

Only downside of it is that it costs money. The cheapest strip is rm10 for 2 copies and the price can go up to rm30++ on some booths. 

So, I found some cute photobooth websites where you can take photos at home or bring your laptop/ipad to somewhere with a nice background and lighting and take your photos there...FOR FREE !!! YAYY!

J's Today: I went for my driving computer test

    last sunday i woke up bright and early to register for my computer test today (tuesday!) so i had the whole monday to study for this test. i want to past on my first try cause if i fail, i have to pay rm30 to retake the test and my mom was already putting pressure on me to pass it. 

    i was like, this test couldn't be That hard right???......right???? i mean it's common sense

WRONG!!!  

Issue 01 - A Day To Celebrate You and Your Girlfriends

1st of August. Girls are waiting for their flowers and a cute little appreciation post on social media from their partner. Some get it while some don't. To those who get it, we're happy you are loved. To those who don't, it's okay; it doesn't mean you're not loved. We can all agree that social media has done irreversible damage to how we base our self-worth on how much our partners are willing to do for us. 

Let's start treating and loving ourselves the way we want to be treated and loved. Make this the year of loving yourself so much you won't see a necessity for romantic love. 

So....no flowers? no boyfriend? no romantic dinner for two? Nothing's wrong with that. Let's put men aside; here are 4 things you can do to celebrate yourself and your girlfriends on National Girlfriend's Day.

Issue 00 - The First Post

Hello, icons! 

Thank you for coming to my blog. This isn't the first time I made a blogspot, I made one when I was like 7-8 years old (#borntogirlblog) and I couldn't remember much what I posted but there's one post that I vividly remember; it was a hate post toward my little sister where I poured my heart out about how annoying she is and how no one loves her..... lol #rage I even put her full name on blast in that post #lol Of course, I've grown since then and I don't hate her as much anymore.

Anyway, this time though, I won't be posting hate post towards anyone (i think :p) but I will use this blog for literally everything; my diary, reviews, recommendations, yap about my wishlists etc. Hopefully I stay comitted to this blog so this could be something I could look back to when I'm in my 30's :)
