Gadgets

hi icons !!!

this is somewhat a simple tutorial on where i get my gadgets from and how i edit them.

to add my gadgets, i use the HTML/JavaScript. so, just copy embed code and paste it here. with this, the possibilities are endless, just let your creativity run wild

1. livechat

i made this one on cbox.ws then for the cream pink background and the little 'let's chat', i coded it (which was hell cause im not a freaking programmer but aye i pull through in the end yayay !!) if you're absolutely beginners in coding, you can take anyone's existing code (??) html (??) on github (if they allow it) and just tweak it to your liking.

2. play with my fairy

i made this on gify.pet. it's pretty straighforward to build your own and you can customize everything which was what i did. i got the background from pinterest and i converted the fairy into png (mandatory!! or else there will be a white background on the fairy).

3. simple bio

for this one, get the code here

edit your texts on this section inside the brackets. the instructions are pretty much clear, but if you run into any problem, i'll be glad to help you. other than the texts, you can also customize the font and colour and sizing. to find fonts, i use fonts.google.com

4. all about me

this is my favourite widget on my page !!! this was inspired by myscene.com's character intro if anyone remember that website. ughh that website was MY CHILDHOOD :((((

get the code here

go to this part to edit to your liking, you can also change the label if you want or just use the label i set there. like before, the fonts, colour and size can be customize as you see fit for your blog.

5. dino game

this was created and customized on jotform. im aware the colour scheme doesn't match my blog's aesthetic but for this one, i want it to be in a colour that doesn't strain the eyes too much and i was also aiming for maximum visibility for people who have a bit of difficulty in seeing colours.

6. advisor snoopy

the code for this gadget can be obtained here
once you open the code, it should be pretty simple and straight-forward for you to edit it to your liking, you can change the image (the snoopy booth) and add your own advice/word or make something totally different using the code file as the base. have fun with it!

7. miscellaneous things

cursor is from cursor-4u (add it to your CSS on the Advanced section at the Theme editing section)

for my banner, i designed it first on canva with the width 1280px (equal or slightly smaller than my blog width) and height 200px.

the rest of the gadgets are all images and texts

that is all from me! i tried to make it as detailed as possible but if anyone is still confused, drop a comment and i will try my best to help <3

with love, j
